Global Access Point Hires Senior Systems and Network Engineer Justin Kintzele

South Bend, IN, August 15, 2014 – Global Access Point (GAP) is proud to welcome Justin D. Kintzele to its ranks. Justin has extensive experience as a network engineer, systems administrator, cloud architect, and project manager. Justin joins GAP with a wealth of knowledge and comes highly recommended. His past experience includes AgSync, Inc., Better World Books, and the Laporte County Government.

While employed at AgSync, Justin redesigned the network infrastructure from the ground up to improve perimeter security, visibility, site-to-site WAN links, and VPN secure remote access. Justin also migrated the company’s systems into a private-public cloud based environment that is local to the area, while taking advantage of cloud-based services and providers. While performing this work, Justin leveraged free and open-source technologies in addition to the latest in virtualization and load-balancing technologies to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and to increase the overall volume and workload capabilities of the existing environment. During the seven years Justin was with Better World Books he built their entire computer network from the ground up. This included transforming a inadequate “sneaker network” into a full blown industry standards-based network. Justin also volunteers his time as the Committee Chair of the South Bend-Elkhart Audubon Society as webmaster; where he redesigned and maintains the existing website’s appearance and functionality while also introducing new technologies for the non-profit organization. Justin is a continuous learner, full of enthusiasm and energy, and Global Access Point is happy to have him on board.
