Global Access Point Hires Experienced Professional Engineer James Krolikowski

– Global Access Point announced that it has named James Krolikowski, P.E. as their Director of Engineering and Critical Facilities. James is a registered professional engineer in Illinois with more than 13 years of experience as a consulting mechanical engineer, specializing in mission critical mechanical and energy systems design. Prior to joining Global Access Point, James served as Senior Associate Mechanical Engineer for Environmental Systems Design Inc. (ESD) in Chicago, IL. During his time at ESD, James was the lead engineer on numerous high-profile mission critical projects including: enterprise data centers, co-location data centers, high performance computing facilities, electronic trading environments, facility energy audits and reliability studies. He has also worked extensively with ESD’s commissioning group as a commissioning agent and Client/Owner representative. Prior clients include: Chicago Board of Trade, CME Group, BMO, Bank of America, British Petroleum, Digital Realty Trust, Equinix, Hewitt, Global Access Point and many more. Prior to joining the Global Access Point Team, James worked with Kevin Smith to create several innovative custom air handling and air flow management solutions currently implemented within Union Station Technology Center. James received his B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with minors in both physics and music.
